Who is the most underrated metal musician?

Honestly, there are so many underrated metal musicians out there that it's difficult to choose just one. But if I had to pick, I would have to say that Mikael Åkerfeldt of Opeth is highly underrated. He's a brilliant musician and songwriter with a unique style and incredible voice, yet he doesn't seem to get the recognition he deserves.

Åkerfeldt has been a part of the metal scene since the early 90s and has played with many different bands over the years. But it wasn't until he formed Opeth in 1990 that he truly began to shine. Opeth is known for their blend of death metal with progressive rock, creating a sound that is both heavy and beautiful. And Åkerfeldt's vocals are a big part of what makes Opeth so special.

But despite the success of Opeth, I still feel like Åkerfeldt is underrated. He's not as well-known as other metal vocalists like James Hetfield or Bruce Dickinson, but his talent is just as impressive. And his songwriting skills are some of the best in the business.
