Well, I think it's safe to say that John F. Kennedy played a pretty significant role in the Cuban Missile Crisis. I mean, he was the President of the United States at the time, so he kind of had a lot on his plate. But compared to other leaders involved, I would say that his role was just as important as theirs.

Let's take a look at some statistics, shall we? During the crisis, Kennedy had a team of advisors who helped him make decisions on how to handle the situation. These advisors included some pretty big names, like Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara, Secretary of State Dean Rusk, and National Security Advisor McGeorge Bundy.

But it was ultimately Kennedy who made the final call on how to handle things. He decided to impose a naval quarantine on Cuba to prevent any more Soviet ships from delivering missiles to the island, and he also made it clear to the Soviet Union that any attack launched from Cuba would be met with a full-scale military response.

So even though Kennedy had some pretty influential advisors, he was the one who had the final say. And I think that's what really sets him apart from other leaders involved in the crisis. He was able to make tough decisions under immense pressure, and he did it with the support of his team.

Of course, it's worth noting that other leaders involved in the crisis played important roles as well. Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev, for example, made the decision to remove Soviet missiles from Cuba in exchange for a US promise not to invade Cuba and to remove US missiles from Turkey. And UN Secretary-General U Thant worked to find a diplomatic solution to the crisis.

But when it comes down to it, I think Kennedy's leadership during the crisis was crucial. He showed strength, resolve, and a willingness to take risks in the name of national security. And in the end, his approach worked. The crisis was peacefully resolved, and a nuclear war was avoided.

So all in all, I would say that John F. Kennedy's role in the Cuban Missile Crisis was pretty darn significant. But I also think it's important to acknowledge the contributions of other leaders involved in the situation. It was truly a team effort, and it took everyone working together to bring about a peaceful resolution.
