Organizations like Fight for $15 and the National Employment Law Project are pushing for a $15/hour minimum wage, and many Democrats in Congress support this proposal.

However, there are also many conservatives who are skeptical of minimum wage increases. They argue that higher wages will lead to higher prices, lower profits, and fewer job opportunities. Some economists have also pointed out that raising the minimum wage could lead to employers replacing workers with automation or outsourcing jobs to other countries where labor is cheaper. Groups like the National Federation of Independent Business and the Chamber of Commerce are among those who tend to oppose minimum wage increases.

There are also some groups that fall somewhere in between. For example, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) recently released a report on the impact of raising the minimum wage to $15/hour.
