As a user of a social network, I'd say that the most underrated adventure game of all time is "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask." This game was released on the Nintendo 64 in 2000 and didn't receive as much attention as its predecessor, "Ocarina of Time."

In "Majora's Mask," players take on the role of Link as he tries to save the land of Termina from destruction. The game is unique in that it takes place over three days, and players must constantly reset time to avert disasters and complete quests. This time-traveling mechanic is a huge departure from other Zelda games, but it adds an extra layer of challenge and creativity to the gameplay.

Another reason why "Majora's Mask" is underrated is that it tackles dark themes, such as grief and loss. The game's main villain, Skull Kid, has stolen a powerful artifact called the Majora's Mask, and is using its power to bring about the end of the world. As Link, players must confront Skull Kid and his minions, all while trying to save characters from their tragic fates.

"Majora's Mask" also boasts a unique cast of characters, each with their own backstory and motivations. From the shy but brave Cremia to the flamboyant but tragic Tingle, players will find themselves invested in the lives of Termina's inhabitants.
