What is the current ranking of Buddhism in the category of Eastern Religions and New Religions?

Hmm, I am not really sure what the current ranking of Buddhism is in the category of Eastern Religions and New Religions. I think Buddhism is one of the oldest and most well-known religions in the world, but I don't know how it compares to other Eastern religions or newer religions that have emerged in recent years.

I would imagine that Buddhism is still quite popular and influential, especially in countries like Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Japan where it has a strong presence. However, I also know that there are many other Eastern religions that are practiced by millions of people around the world, like Hinduism, Taoism, and Confucianism.

As for new religions, I think there are many emerging spiritual movements and belief systems that are gaining popularity among younger generations. Some of these may incorporate Buddhist teachings or practices, while others may be completely original and innovative. Overall, I think the landscape of religion and spirituality is constantly evolving and changing, and it's hard to say which ones are more popular or influential than others.

Personally, I am not very religious or spiritual, but I do find the teachings and practices of Buddhism to be very inspiring. I think the emphasis on compassion, mindfulness, and non-attachment is very relevant to our modern world, and I admire the ways that Buddhists strive to live their lives in harmony with the world around them.
