Do all scientists adhere to an empiricist approach to their research?

Empiricism is a way of thinking that stresses observations and experimental evidence as the basis of knowledge. It's a vital part of the scientific method, but it's not the only approach that scientists can take.

Additionally, some fields of research are not suited to an empiricist approach. For example, astronomy and astrophysics rely heavily on observations of things that can never be recreated in a laboratory or even experienced firsthand.

In any case, I think it's important to recognize that science is a complex and diverse field, and there are many ways to approach research. While empiricism is an important tool for many scientists, it's not the only way to make progress and achieve meaningful results.
