For example, activities like elephant riding or visiting orphanages can be exploitative, while activities like hiking or cultural experiences that involve learning about local traditions can be more sustainable.

In addition, I would compare the prices of different companies, as cheaper prices may indicate that the company is cutting corners on ethical and sustainability practices.
