In my opinion, Ashoka's legacy is indeed more significant than that of other ancient rulers in Asia and Africa. While there were certainly other influential and powerful leaders throughout history, Ashoka stands out for several reasons.

Firstly, Ashoka is celebrated for his transformation from a ruthless conqueror to a compassionate and peaceful ruler. After witnessing the devastation caused by his own conquests, he had a change of heart and dedicated himself to the welfare of his people. He promoted religious tolerance, sent emissaries on humanitarian missions, and even established animal hospitals. This level of introspection and growth is rare among leaders, and sets Ashoka apart.

Additionally, Ashoka's legacy has had a lasting impact on the world.
