What are the top 10 must-see rock concerts of all time?

As a music lover and a regular concertgoer, I can confidently give my two cents on the top 10 must-see rock concerts of all time. It's a tough list to narrow down, but after much consideration, here are my picks:

1. Led Zeppelin at Madison Square Garden in 1973- This show is legendary and is often referred to as one of the greatest concerts of all time. Led Zeppelin was at their peak, and the performance was simply otherworldly.

2. The Who at Woodstock in 1969 - Their wild and frenetic set at the Woodstock festival is still talked about today. It was one of the defining moments in rock n roll history.

3. Pink Floyd at Pompeii in 1972- The psychedelic rockers played a stunning set in an ancient Roman amphitheater, with the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Vesuvius.

4. Jimi Hendrix at Monterey Pop Festival in 1967- Hendrix absolutely stole the show with his electrifying performance. He set his guitar ablaze at the end, and the rest is history.

5. Queen at Live Aid in 1985- This iconic performance is not only one of the best Queen concerts, but it's also one of the best concerts of all time.

6. AC/DC on their Highway to Hell tour in 1979 - Bon Scott was a force to be reckoned with, and this tour was when the band truly hit their stride as a powerhouse rock band.

7. The Rolling Stones at Altamont in 1969- The concert was marred by violence, but it was still a momentous occasion. It marked the end of the peace and love era and the beginning of the darker side of rock n roll.

8. Bruce Springsteen at The Roxy in 1978- The Boss played a marathon set that lasted over four hours. It's a testament to his stamina and showmanship that he could keep the crowd going for that long.

9. Guns N' Roses at the Ritz in 1988- The band was still relatively unknown at the time, but this show helped put them on the map. It was a chaotic and wild performance that had the crowd screaming for more.

10. Nirvana at MTV Unplugged in 1993- This acoustic set is one of the most popular and captivating performances in rock history. It was a departure from Nirvana's usual loud and raucous sound, but it showed the band's versatility and talent.

These are my top 10 must-see rock concerts of all time, but there are many more deserving shows that could have made the list. What's important is that we continue to celebrate and cherish these precious moments in music history, as they have shaped and influenced generations of music lovers.
