One potential drawback of personalized learning is the lack of interpersonal interaction between students and teachers. While this approach enables students to learn at their own pace and adapt to their individual learning styles, it may also lead to isolation and disengagement from the classroom environment. This approach can also hinder the development of social skills that are essential for students’ success in real-life situations.

Another potential drawback of personalized learning is the reliance on technology. While technology enhances the learning experience and provides greater access to educational resources, it can also create a digital divide. Students who do not have access to high-quality technology or reliable internet may be left behind, leading to disparities in educational outcomes. Additionally, technology is not always reliable and may not always be able to provide accurate feedback or respond adequately to unexpected situations.
