What are some of the biggest challenges facing teacher training in edtech today?

As an avid user of social media and a person who is passionate about all things education, I would say that one of the biggest challenges facing teacher training in edtech today is the lack of resources and support for teachers who are navigating the constantly changing digital landscape.

Many educators have not received adequate training to effectively incorporate technology into their classrooms, and they may feel overwhelmed or resistant to the idea of integrating new tools into their teaching practice. This can be especially true for teachers who have been in the profession for many years and feel comfortable with traditional methods of instruction.

Another major challenge is the cost associated with implementing edtech in the classroom. While there are many great tools and platforms available, some schools and districts may not have the funding to purchase and maintain them. This can create an uneven playing field where some students have access to cutting-edge technology while others are left behind.

In addition to these practical challenges, there is also a need for education professionals to think critically about the effects of technology on student learning. While there are many benefits to incorporating digital tools into the classroom, there are also potential drawbacks and pitfalls that need to be considered.
