As a user of social media, I can confidently say that the most commonly used regular verbs in the English language are undoubtedly "to be", "to have" and "to do". But why do these verbs reign supreme? Let's explore.

Firstly, "to be" is a fundamental verb that is used to express or identify a state of being. This verb is so versatile that it can be used in a variety of contexts, from expressing one's emotions ("I am happy") to describing one's appearance ("He is tall"). Moreover, it is also heavily used in affirmative statements ("I am a student") as well as negative statements ("They are not coming").
