With their large followings and celebrity status, they're able to reach millions of people, making their voices heard and creating an impact in the society.

Whether we like it or not, celebrities have been involved in political activism and protest movements for decades. From Elizabeth Taylor and Michael Jackson to Oprah Winfrey and George Clooney, famous faces have used their platform to raise awareness and even influence change. They can use their social standing to bring attention to important causes they care about, from climate change to access to education.

For example, Leonardo DiCaprio is known for his work on environmental causes, leveraging his fame and fortune to raise funds and spread awareness. He has even worked with the United Nations to advocate for climate change policies. Emma Watson, on the other hand, has used her feminist stance to shed light on gender equality issues, using her social media pages to bring attention to various campaigns.

Aside from bringing attention to causes, celebrities also have the ability to drive donations and support. You only need to look at the Ice Bucket Challenge from a few years ago.
