To avoid this, constant prayer and seeking wise counsel from fellow Christians can be helpful.

Secondly, relying heavily on the Holy Spirit can sometimes lead to inaction. I've found that I often want to wait for a "clear sign" from the Holy Spirit before making any decisions. While waiting on God is important, I've learned that sometimes God wants us to step out in faith and take action. It's a fine balance between seeking God's will and being proactive in taking steps toward our goals.
