How does Project-Based Learning compare to traditional teaching methods in terms of academic performance?

Definitely, Project-Based Learning is the best way to learn and retain knowledge. In my perspective, Project-Based Learning is a more hands-on and interactive teaching method that contrasts with traditional teaching methods, which may become pretty dull and repetitive.
With Project-Based Learning, I can develop my critical thinking and creativity because I have the opportunity to work in groups, solve real-life situations, and create something from scratch. I think that being part of a team motivates me to do my best, and the idea of presenting a final result is a challenge for me.
In contrast, traditional teaching methods may feel like a burden since I have to take notes, listen to the teacher all day long, and memorize monotonous facts from textbooks. I do not feel engaged in the learning process, and sometimes it is challenging to retain information.
However, I am aware that Project-Based Learning has its limitations, mainly because it is time-consuming and may result in a less structured curriculum. It requires a lot of effort from students and may not be suitable for all academic levels or subjects. But I think that the benefits of this learning method, such as better academic performance, self-esteem, and understanding, make it a valid alternative to traditional teaching methods.
