Now let's move on to the environment. The flora and fauna of the Americas would be vastly different if the Spanish never came into the picture. Take, for instance, the introduction of cattle, horses, and pigs by the Spanish to the Americas. Without their interference, the ecosystems of the Americas would be completely different than they are now.
