Another example that comes to mind is the city of San Francisco, California, which has long been a leader in promoting social justice policies. In recent years, the city has implemented a number of programs aimed at addressing homelessness and income inequality, including providing funding for homeless shelters and housing programs, establishing a "right to counsel" for tenants facing eviction, and passing laws to protect workers' rights and promote fair labor practices.
