You start off super motivated, ready to learn everything there is to know about painting, or writing, or photography or whatever your creative calling may be. But then, you find yourself staring at a computer screen for hours on end, clicking through endless slides and watching videos that make you want to pull your hair out.

But it's not just the boredom factor that we need to worry about. We also need to consider the quality of the courses themselves. I mean, who's to say that the person teaching the course is actually qualified? What if they're just some random guy who decided to make a quick buck by uploading a bunch of videos to the internet? Let's face it, just because someone can create amazing art or write brilliant prose, doesn't necessarily mean they can teach others how to do the same.

Then there's the issue of accountability. When you're taking an online course, there's no one there to hold you accountable. It's all too easy to log in, watch a few videos and then forget all about it. Whereas, if you attend a physical class, you have a teacher who can see when you're slacking off and give you a nudge to keep you on track.

Now, I know what you're thinking. "But what about the cost savings of online courses?" Sure, online courses are often cheaper than attending a physical class. But, let's be honest, you get what you pay for. And in this case, you may end up paying for a course that doesn't provide you with the level of instruction you really need to advance your creative skills.

All in all, there are definitely some potential drawbacks to taking online creativity courses. But, that doesn't mean they're all bad. In fact, there are some great courses out there that can truly help you hone your skills and take your creativity to the next level. You just need to be careful when choosing which courses to take and make sure they're from reputable sources.

So, be wary folks, when it comes to online creativity courses. They may seem like a great idea at first, but do your research and choose wisely. Otherwise, you may end up like me, staring at a computer screen for hours on end, wondering why you ever thought this was a good idea.
