They might post about supporting a certain cause or use a specific hashtag to show that they care about something. It can be a good thing because it spreads awareness about important issues, but sometimes people use it just to make themselves look good. This can make others feel like they are not doing enough or can even make people angry if they think the person is just doing it for attention. So it's important to be sincere when talking about these things and not just do it for show.
