Every country has its own complex set of political, social, and economic factors that shape how it approaches migration, as well as its own unique history. However, there are certainly some common threads that can be identified across many countries, especially those who have struggled with a high volume of refugees in the past.

One of the most critical factors in creating better conditions for stateless migrants in these countries is the political will to do so. Governments need to have the determination to tackle the root causes of statelessness proactively and effectively. This means investing in resources, legal frameworks, and public services that can help solve this issue. However, political will alone is not sufficient.
