In recent times, people have become considerably more aware of the environmental challenges confronting the planet such as pollution, plastic waste, and climate change. As a result, environmental education has emerged as a crucial element in schools to raise awareness and promote eco-friendly lifestyles, and to ensure a sustainable future.

At the same time, how are teachers trained? Do they receive sufficient professional development regarding environmental education?

Integrating various learning patterns and senses such as sensory play, out-of-classroom activities, and games can also enhance the effectiveness of the learning outcomes. However, are these effective methods being used for teaching about the environment? And are they accessible to all students?

Lastly, readily accessible and varied learning materials such as books, online resources, and audiovisual materials can support a wider learning scope and raise environmental awareness effectively. But do schools have enough resources to provide quality and diverse eco-friendly materials?
