For example, the Fish River Canyon in Namibia is often compared to the Grand Canyon for its size and depth. It is 100 miles long, up to 17 miles wide, and over 1,800 feet deep in some areas.

Then there's the Colca Canyon in Peru, which is the second-deepest canyon in the world. It's twice as deep as the Grand Canyon, reaching depths of up to 13,650 feet. Plus, it's home to some unique flora and fauna, like the Andean condor.
