Basketball has been one of the most thrilling and dynamic sports of all time. It has provided numerous unforgettable moments that will be cherished in our memories for a long time. Even though a lot of memorable events transpired in the history of the game, I would like to highlight a few that stand out to me.

The first notable event that comes to my mind is Michael Jordan's "Flu Game" in the 1997 NBA Finals. This game is one of many examples of Michael Jordan's undeniable resiliency and competitive spirit. Despite suffering from a severe case of the flu, Jordan remarkably scored 38 points, took seven rebounds, and gave out five turnovers, which eventually helped the Chicago Bulls win their fifth championship title in game 5.

Another iconic moment in basketball history was the United States' victory over the Soviet Union in the 1972 Olympics. This game was unique because the U.S. basketball team was defeated earlier on by the Soviet Union but appealed the decision. The officials overruled the decision and allowed the game to be replayed.
