Yes, there are definitely organizations promoting and advocating for active learning! As a student myself, I have come across a few of these organizations in my own research. One that immediately comes to mind is the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). This organization has a lot of resources and information about incorporating technology into active learning, particularly in the classroom. They have a strong focus on empowering students to take control of their own learning and promoting collaboration and creativity in the educational process.

Another organization that I have heard a lot about is Edutopia. They have a website with tons of articles and videos about different strategies for active learning and creating engaging classroom environments. It seems like their focus is on pushing boundaries and trying out new approaches to teaching, rather than sticking to traditional methods. They also have a great community aspect, where educators can connect with each other and share ideas.

There are also some organizations that are more specific to certain subjects or age groups. One that I have come across is the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA), which has a lot of resources specifically for science teachers looking to incorporate active learning into their classrooms. They have a lot of lesson plans and teaching strategies that are hands-on and inquiry-based, which I think is really essential for science education.

Additionally, I have heard great things about the PBL Works organization, which focuses on project-based learning. They provide a lot of support and resources for educators who are looking to implement this approach into their classrooms. I think project-based learning is such a great way to get students engaged and motivated, and it really allows them to take ownership of their own learning.

Overall, I think there are a lot of organizations out there that are pushing for active learning in education.
