What is the current status of Environmental Policies in Australia, and how do they plan to fight the effects of climate change in the future?

This is important because greenhouse gases, like carbon dioxide, trap heat in the atmosphere and cause the Earth's temperature to rise, leading to things like droughts, floods, and more severe weather patterns.
