As a user of various wireless standards, I have experienced the advantages and disadvantages of using these technologies. In this constantly evolving technological world, having a smartphone, laptop, or any other wireless device is mandatory, but there are many types of wireless standards such as WI-FI, Bluetooth, and NFC. Each of these wireless standards has its advantages and disadvantages, and it is essential to know both before deciding which standard to use.
Advantages of Wireless Standards:
1) Connects Many Devices: Wireless standards allow devices to connect and share data wirelessly. This means that many devices can be connected to the Internet through a router, and multiple Bluetooth devices can be connected to send and receive data.
2) Portable: Wireless standards are essential for users who are always on-the-go. Unlike Ethernet cables, wireless standards enable one to connect to the internet from anywhere without the need for physical connections.
3) Secure: With the advancements of technologies, wireless standards have become much more secure than ever before. These technologies are now equipped with the latest security protocols and security encryption methods to keep users’ data safe from attacks.
4) Cost-effective: Wireless technology is more cost-effective since it eliminates the cost of cables, which can be expensive and time-consuming.
Disadvantages of Wireless Standards:
