What is the government doing to combat hate speech in our country?

The government is trying very hard to stop people from saying mean and hurtful things about other people because it is not nice and it can make other people feel very sad.

They have made rules called laws that say that it is not okay to say bad things about people because of the way they look, where they come from, or what they believe in.

They also have people whose job it is to watch what people say on the internet and social media. If someone says something that is really mean and hurtful, they can get in trouble and have to pay a fine or even go to jail.

But it's not just the government that can help stop hate speech. We can all do our part by being kind to each other, standing up for those who are being bullied, and being careful about what we say and how we say it. Together, we can make our country a better and happier place for everyone.
