Are there any TV show dramas that you think are underrated and deserve more attention?
Hey there!
I think there are definitely some TV show dramas out there that are underrated and deserve more attention. In fact, I have a few in mind that I'm happy to recommend.
First up, I think "Rectify" is a show that deserves more recognition. It's a slow-burning drama about a man named Daniel Holden who is released from prison after spending 19 years on death row for a crime he may not have committed. The show explores his struggles to adapt to life outside of prison and how his family and community react to his return. It's an incredibly moving and powerful show that tackles some big themes like justice, forgiveness, and redemption.
Another show I think is underrated is "The Leftovers." It's a post-apocalyptic drama that explores how different people cope with the sudden disappearance of 2% of the world's population. The show is heavy on symbolism and metaphor, but it also has great characters and storytelling. It's a show that really rewards careful viewing and reflection, and I think it's one that more people should check out.
Finally, I think "Halt and Catch Fire" is a show that deserves more attention. It's a drama set in Silicon Valley in the 1980s and 90s, and it follows a group of ambitious tech entrepreneurs as they try to revolutionize the industry. The show gets into some really interesting themes around innovation, competition, and collaboration, and it features some fantastic acting from its lead cast. It's a great show that often gets overlooked, but I think it's definitely worth checking out.
So those are three underrated TV dramas that I think deserve more attention. Have you seen any of them? What do you think of them? Let me know!
