Well, as a regular user of social media, I can say that online activism has become one of the most influential aspects of global social movements. Nowadays, it's extremely common to find people from different parts of the world coming together to support or protest against a particular cause thanks to the power of the internet.

Social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook have made it easier for people to spread and share information, unite around common goals and causes, and voice their opinions and concerns to a global audience. This has allowed for a more diverse range of people to be involved and contribute to social movements that they might not have been able to participate in before due to geographic or logistical limitations.

One of the most significant impacts of online activism is the speed at which information can be shared and movements can grow. With the power of hashtags, trending topics, and viral content, people can quickly come together and create a massive buzz around a particular issue.
