As a user of social media, I think there are several risks associated with not prioritizing cyber security in relation to human rights and civil liberties. While we are living in a digital world where online communication has become a norm, protecting our privacy and digital assets is more important than ever.

One of the significant risks of ignoring cyber security is that it can expose our personal information, leading to identity theft, financial fraud, and other related cybercrimes. Hackers and cybercriminals are always on the lookout for the weak spots to exploit, and without proper measures in place, we can easily fall prey to their malicious activities. Moreover, cyber-attacks can also target organizations and businesses, leading to data breaches and compromising sensitive information.

Another danger of not prioritizing cyber security is the potential violation of human rights and civil liberties. Governments and other authoritative bodies can use surveillance measures or monitor our online activities, accessing personal information and sensitive data without consent.
