Which countries are most affected by conflicts between different religious sects?
Well, this is a tough question to answer as there are multiple countries where conflicts between different religious sects are present. However, some of the most affected countries include Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Nigeria, and Pakistan, to name a few.
Syria has been dealing with a civil war for over a decade now, which has been mainly due to a conflict between the Sunni and Shia Muslims. The government is controlled by Shia Muslims while the majority of the population are Sunni Muslims, which has caused unrest throughout the country.
Iraq is also dealing with a similar situation like Syria with the majority being Shia Muslims and a minority of Sunni Muslims. The clash between the two has led to terrorist attacks, bombings, and extreme violence.
Yemen is in a precarious situation with the Houthi rebels, who are Shia Muslims, fighting against the government and Sunni Muslims. The country has been dealing with violence and instability for many years now.
Nigeria has been having religious conflicts between the Christians and Muslims, which has led to a huge number of casualties and displacement of people. The conflict mainly arises in the northern part of the country where the majority of the population are Muslims.
Pakistan is also a country where religious conflicts are common, especially between Sunni and Shia Muslims. The country has witnessed multiple terrorist attacks and bombings due to this conflict.
Apart from these countries, there are many others where religious conflicts exist. It is sad to see how conflicts between different religious sects can cause so much violence and destruction. It is important for people to understand and respect each other's beliefs to promote peace and harmony.
