Religious diversity can actually help improve social cohesion because it allows people to learn about and respect different beliefs and cultures. When people have more understanding of each other, they can be friends and work together better. For example, if you have a friend who is Muslim, you may learn about their traditions and beliefs, and this can make your friendship stronger, and you can celebrate together.

However, sometimes factors like immigration and economic inequality can make the relationship between religious diversity and social cohesion more difficult. Immigration means that people move to different countries, and this can cause cultural clashes. It can be hard for people to feel like they belong if they are from a different place. Another factor is economic inequality, where some people may be privileged while others struggle to get by.
