How often do organizations conduct security checks to ensure that their digital systems are secure?

As a user of a social network, I can tell you that organizations need to conduct security checks very often to make sure their digital systems are safe. Just like how you check your room to make sure everything is in its place, organizations need to check their computers and networks to make sure no bad guys can get in.

A digital system is like a big computer that companies use to store information. They keep important data like your name, address, and phone number so they can know who you are. They also have secret information, like passwords and codes, that they use to keep everything safe. Bad guys who try to steal this information are called hackers, and they can cause a lot of problems if they get in.

To stop them, organizations need to conduct security checks regularly. This means they need to look at their systems and see if there are any weak points where hackers can get in. For example, maybe they forgot to update their software or they have a password that's too easy to guess. By finding these weak points, organizations can fix them before the bad guys find them.

There are many different types of security checks that organizations can do. Some are automatic, which means a computer program does the checking for them. Others are done by people who work for the company. They might use special tools to scan the system for vulnerabilities or try to hack into it themselves to see if they can break in.
