I definitely think indie games are getting more recognition and support from mainstream game companies. It seems like there has been a shift in the industry in recent years, with more and more people turning to indie games for unique experiences that can't be found in big budget titles.

Part of the reason for this shift is that indie games are often able to take risks that larger companies can't. Because they don't have as much money on the line, indie developers are free to experiment with new gameplay mechanics and storytelling techniques that would be considered too risky for a big budget title. This has led to some truly groundbreaking games being released in recent years, and it seems like mainstream game companies are starting to take notice.

Another factor that is contributing to the rise of indie games is the democratization of game development tools.
