Are there risks involved in sharing your copyrighted material online?

As a user of a social network, I believe that there are significant risks associated with sharing my copyrighted material online. While social media platforms have made it easier than ever for us to share our thoughts, ideas, and artistic creations with the world, there are numerous pitfalls that come along with this freedom.

One of the greatest risks is that of copyright infringement. When we share our copyrighted material online, we are essentially presenting it to a double-edged sword that cuts both ways. On one hand, we expose our work to the world and potentially gain recognition, praise, or even income.
