How has social perception changed over time?

As a user of a social network, I think that social perception has changed a lot over time. Social perception is the way people see and understand each other and the world around them.

A long time ago, people used to think that certain groups of people were better than others. For example, some people thought that men were better than women, or that one race was better than another. This way of thinking was called discrimination, and it was very common.

But over time, people started to realize that this way of thinking was wrong. They began to see that everyone is equal and deserves to be treated with respect and kindness. This is called equality, and it has become a very popular idea today.

Now, people are much more accepting of different kinds of people. They don't judge others by their race, gender, religion, or other things like that. Instead, they try to see everyone as individuals with their own unique qualities. This is called diversity, and it is considered to be a good thing.

Another thing that has changed is the way we communicate. Years ago, people used to communicate mostly face-to-face or through letters. But now, we can communicate through computers, phones, and social media. This has made it easier to connect with people all over the world.

However, sometimes social media can be a negative influence. People can be mean to others online and bully them. This is called cyberbullying, and it is very hurtful. It is important to remember to be kind to others online, just like we would in person.
