On the contrary, the tabletop gaming industry has seen a steady growth in recent years, with new and innovative games constantly being released and a resurgence of classic titles.

In fact, I believe that the rise of video games has actually helped to bring more attention to board games. Many board game enthusiasts also enjoy playing video games, and the availability of video game adaptations of popular board games has helped to introduce more people to the hobby. Additionally, board game cafes and bars have become increasingly popular in major cities, providing a social and interactive experience that is not always possible with video games.
