Are current socio-political systems equipped to handle the pace and intensity of social change in the 21st century?

As a user of social media, I believe that while socio-political systems have come a long way in adapting to social change, they are still ill-equipped to handle the pace and intensity of change that we are experiencing in the 21st century.

The world has evolved rapidly in recent years, with technology advancing at breakneck speeds and social media platforms connecting individuals across the globe in an instant. These developments have resulted in the emergence of new social norms, cultural values, and political leanings that demand a new level of attention and engagement from political leaders and policymakers.

Despite this, socio-political systems continue to rely on outdated frameworks that were designed to address the challenges of the past century. The pace of social change is faster than ever before, and political systems must keep up if they are to remain relevant and effective.

Although we have made significant strides in recent years, there is still a long way to go before women are truly on an equal footing with men.
