In your opinion, what do you think is the most pressing issue facing the Disability Rights movement today?

Hey there! I think the most pressing issue facing the Disability Rights movement today is the lack of accessibility in society. Even though there have been great strides made in terms of accessibility laws and regulations, there is still so much work to be done.

One of the biggest areas where accessibility falls short is in the workplace. Many people with disabilities struggle to find employment, and even when they do, they often face barriers to advancement or are not provided with the necessary accommodations to do their job effectively. This not only limits their own potential but also has a negative impact on the economy as a whole.

Another area where accessibility is lacking is in public spaces. Many buildings and transportation systems are still not fully accessible, which greatly restricts the mobility and independence of people with disabilities. This is a major problem, as it prevents people with disabilities from fully participating in society and can lead to social isolation and exclusion.

Furthermore, there is a lack of awareness and education about disability rights and the experiences of people with disabilities. This can lead to discrimination and prejudice, which further exclude people with disabilities from society. It is important to educate the general public about disability rights, as well as to provide resources and support for people with disabilities to advocate for themselves.

Overall, I think that improving accessibility in all areas of society is essential for advancing Disability Rights.
