Are there any organizations or communities that are dedicated to playing a certain type of fantasy game?

Yeah, there are definitely groups out there that are all about playing specific types of fantasy games. Some are super niche, like you might have a community that's solely dedicated to playing this one obscure tabletop game, while others are more general and encompass a lot of different game types.

Personally, I'm a part of a few different online communities that revolve around fantasy gaming. One of them is a Facebook group that's all about D&D - people share their campaigns, ask for advice on character design, and sometimes organize online sessions. It's a really cool group and I've learned a ton from others who are more experienced than me.

There's also a larger forum that I frequent which covers a lot of different RPGs, both traditional and newer ones. It's helpful for getting recommendations on what games to try out next, as well as discussing different aspects of game mechanics and storytelling. The people there are generally pretty friendly and willing to help out if you have questions.

In terms of specific game types, I know there are groups out there for things like Warhammer, Magic: The Gathering, and various video games. I don't personally participate in those groups as much, but I have friends who do and they seem to enjoy being part of those communities.

I think the cool thing about these groups is that they give you a chance to connect with other people who are passionate about the same thing you are.
