Are there any global rankings or reports that compare homeschooling systems across different countries?
Hey! I'm not really sure if there are any global rankings or reports that compare homeschooling systems across different countries. I mean, it seems like something that could exist, but I haven't personally come across it.
I imagine that comparing homeschooling systems across countries would be pretty tricky, since homeschooling policies and practices can vary so much from place to place. Even within the same country, different families may have very different approaches to homeschooling.
That said, I could definitely see some value in comparing homeschooling practices across countries. I think it could be interesting to see how different cultures approach homeschooling, and to learn from one another.
I wonder if any big international organizations have done any studies on this topic? Maybe UNESCO or the OECD? It would be worth looking into.
Ultimately, though, I think it's important for families to focus on finding an approach to homeschooling that works best for them - regardless of what's happening in other countries. There's no one "right" way to do homeschooling, and what works well for one family might not work at all for another.
So yeah, that's my take on the question. Not a definitive answer, but hopefully some food for thought!
