What is blended learning and how does it differ from traditional learning methods?

One of the main differences between traditional learning methods and blended learning is the flexibility that the latter offers. Online learning resources can be accessed at any time and from anywhere. This means that students have the ability to better manage their time and study from a distance if they cannot attend face-to-face classes or lectures for some reason.

Blended learning can also be personalized, since it allows the student to learn at their own pace and in their own way. They can review or revisit sections that they find difficult, or focus exclusively on topics that have been previously covered in a particular class.

Moreover, blended learning promotes student engagement, because students have the ability to take class from home if they cannot attend in person, work collaboratively with others, and participate in group discussions. This allows students to build their own learning community.

Blended learning is also beneficial for teachers, as it allows them to incorporate technology into their teaching methods.
