For instance, online trolls and cyberbullies often use social media to attack others, spewing hateful comments, and spreading fake news or misinformation. These behaviors can create a toxic environment that can harm people's mental health and emotional wellbeing. Furthermore, the constant comparison and competition that sometimes takes place on social media can lead people to feel insecure, anxious, and even depressed, as they try to measure up to others' seemingly perfect lives.
