Absolutely! In fact, I have a game in mind that not only deserves a sequel, but has the potential to be a game-changer in the platformer genre. I am talking about none other than Ori and the Blind Forest.

Released in 2015 by Moon Studios, Ori and the Blind Forest quickly became a fan favorite due to its breathtaking visuals, emotive storytelling and challenging mechanics. The game follows the journey of the titular Ori, a small forest spirit that sets out to save his home from darkness and destruction.

What sets Ori and the Blind Forest apart from other platformers is its incredible attention to detail. From the hand-painted environments to the hauntingly beautiful soundtrack, every aspect of the game is polished to a mirror finish. The gameplay itself is a perfect blend of puzzle-solving and action, with new mechanics being introduced just when the player starts to get comfortable.

However, what really makes Ori and the Blind Forest special is its emotional depth. The game tackles themes such as loss, grief and hope in a way that is rare to see in video games.
