Are there any controversial or unethical practices happening in wildlife rehab centers?

There are some bad things happening in some places that help animals get better. These places are called wildlife rehab centers. Sometimes, people who work at these centers might do things that are not good for the animals or they might not follow the rules for how to help the animals.

For example, some people might hurt the animals on purpose so they can "rescue" them and get praised for it. This is very bad and it hurts the animals even more. Other people at rehab centers might not give the animals enough food or water, or they might not take good care of them in other ways.

It's important to remember that most people who work at wildlife rehab centers are good and they really want to help the animals. But there might be some people who don't do the right thing. If you ever see something that you think is wrong, you should tell an adult you trust. They can help you make sure that the animals are being taken care of the right way.
