Who is considered the king/queen of funny quotes in the entertainment industry?

In my opinion, it's difficult to name just one person as the king/queen of funny quotes in the entertainment industry, as there are so many comedic icons that come to mind. That being said, I'll give you a few of my top picks.

First on my list is Betty White. This woman needs no introduction, as she's been a beloved figure in the entertainment industry for over 80 years. Not only is she a hilarious comedic actress, but she's also known for her quick wit and clever one-liners. Some of her most memorable quotes include "Why do people say 'grow some balls'? Balls are weak and sensitive. If you really want to get tough, grow a vagina. Those things take a pounding.'' and "I don't know what I'd do without my sense of humor. It's my lifeline to keep me going and to keep me feeling good."

Next up is Ellen DeGeneres. As one of the funniest female comedians in the industry, Ellen has a knack for making people laugh with her relatable and witty jokes. Aside from her hilarious monologues on her talk show, some of her best quotes include "I'm a comedian, but I don't think comedy is all that important", "I'm not afraid of anything because that time I was, I was attacked by a bird, probably a pigeon." and "Most comedy is based on getting a laugh at somebody else's expense. And I find that that's just a form of bullying in a major way. So I want to be an example that you can be funny and be kind, and make people laugh without hurting somebody else's feelings."

Finally, I have to mention Tina Fey. A powerhouse in both the tv and movie industries, Tina's sharp and sarcastic humor has been entertaining audiences for decades. Her most famous quotes include "You can't be that kid standing at the top of the waterslide, overthinking it. You have to go down the chute", "You know what's a great gift? Giving people the permission to feel good about themselves." and "Maybe some women aren't meant to be tamed. Maybe they just need to run free until they find someone just as wild to run with them."
