Secondly, policies and regulations are being enforced to prevent deforestation and to promote sustainable land use practices. This involves the implementation of forest reserves, protected areas, and National Parks, which safeguard the remaining forests and wildlife habitats from further encroachment and destruction. Moreover, the introduction of agro-ecological practices that promote soil conservation, crop diversification, and organic farming are being encouraged by governments to reduce pressure on natural resources and to promote food security.

Thirdly, there is a growing awareness among the general public about the need for sustainable land management practices.
