Streaming has changed the way we watch movies and TV shows. Before, we used to have to go to the movie theater or rent a DVD to watch a movie. But now, we can just turn on our computer or TV and watch anything we want at any time on streaming platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hulu.

For the indie film industry, streaming has been both a blessing and a curse. On one hand, it's easier than ever for indie filmmakers to get their movies in front of an audience. They can upload their movies to platforms like Vimeo or YouTube and people can watch them from anywhere in the world. This means that more people are seeing indie movies than ever before, and that can lead to more success for the filmmakers.

On the other hand, the rise of streaming has made it harder for indie filmmakers to make money from their movies. Before streaming, indie filmmakers could make money by selling their movies to theaters, DVD distributors, and TV networks. But now that more people are watching movies on streaming platforms, those traditional outlets for indie movies are not as important.
