In theory, democracy can lead to more equality and justice for citizens because everyone has a chance to be heard.

But in reality, democracy doesn't always lead to more equality and justice. Sometimes, certain groups of people have more power than others, which can lead to unfairness and inequality. For example, if some people have more money or influence than others, they might be able to influence the government more than others. This means that some people's opinions might be heard more than others.

Another problem with democracy is that not everyone has the same opportunities to vote or voice their opinions. Some people might not have access to education or information, which can make it harder for them to make informed decisions. This can lead to unfairness and inequality as well.

In conclusion, democracy has the potential to lead to more equality and justice for citizens, but it doesn't always work out that way. It's important for everyone to have an equal opportunity to be heard and to have their voices and opinions valued. Only then can we truly say that democracy is working for everyone.
