Who were the most influential figures during prehistoric times in Europe?

Well, that is a very interesting question. I think prehistoric times in Europe were shrouded in mystery and there were probably many influential figures that we don't even know about. However, from what we do know, I would say that there were a few notable individuals who had a significant impact on their societies.

One of the earliest notable figures was Ötzi the Iceman, who lived around 3,300 BCE and was found frozen in the Alps in 1991. Ötzi’s well-preserved body and belongings have provided archaeologists with a wealth of information about life in the Copper Age. He was a skilled hunter and had a complex set of tools that he used for hunting and survival.

Another influential figure from prehistoric times in Europe was Stone Age artist who created the famous cave paintings found in Lascaux, France. These paintings were created around 17,000 years ago and depict a variety of animals, including bison, horses, and deer. These paintings offer a glimpse into the lives of our ancestors and how they saw the world around them.

Moving forward in time, the Bronze Age saw the rise of the Urnfield Culture in central Europe. This culture was notable for its cremation burials in urns, and its widespread use of bronze tools and weapons.
